Ryker originally joined our basketball team to stay in shape between football and track season. As the season progressed, Ryker developed a passion for the game and showed up at districts ready to compete. Ryker took the initiative as our hype man and did a great job of raising the energy level in our huddle and during the game and his fellow teammates responded positively. I hope Ryker continues to pursue basketball, however, I feel confident he will excel in whatever sport he chooses to compete in.

Emmett has been a joy to coach all season, he has shown the most improvement of anyone on the team. He was a major factor in the tournament getting us to the championship. He came off the bench and gave us great energy. It was a joy to coach him and see how much he would grow.I am very proud of him for all the work he put in this season.

Cayleb has shown amazing energy and hustle all season. This week was no different. In the two games prior to the tournament, he showed amazing energy off the bench, getting steals and putting the ball in the bucket. Then at the tournament he ended up starting in two of the games, including the championship game. He was flying around making plays with endless energy. It was very fun to watch and I am very proud of him.

Through both seasons, Bailey was always one of the first to jump in and help with mats and poms. She would even stay after games to put things away—without me ever having to ask. She truly embodied the TIGER values!
Bailey was already an incredible cheerleader thanks to her background in competitive cheer, but throughout the seasons, I watched her flourish personally. Toward the end of the season, her personality really started to shine through, and it was so fun to see that side of her come out! Oh, and last thing... let’s talk about those jumps, wow! If you saw them, you know exactly what I mean!

Eli is a Team-first athlete/point guard. Mr. Royce is a General on the court and calls the plays as he watches the game unfold like a leader with a purpose bigger than himself. Eli is a multi-sport athlete who uses the skills and abilities from one sport to complement the next and does not let the pressure overwhelm him making him a prime candidate to lead his team into gameday!

Kamden had his best week yet. He has been working very hard in practice and it has shown. He is also a joy to coach as he is always putting smiles on everyone's faces. I am excited to see how much he can improve, not only as a basketball player, but also as a person/student.

All season she has been amazing. She comes to practice with a smile and keeps the energy high! This last week we were learning how to do cradles which can be an intimidating task. She listened so wonderfully to instructions and showed everyone the true definition of grit. I'm so proud of her and her stunt group :)

Micah came in and immediately did his thing. Being the most experienced player on the team, he became a leader and an on court coach. He is always trying to make his teammates better and give them the best chance to succeed.

This week has been a phenomenal week for Mr. Montes. Ryker started out with a small role on the team but has earned a primary role over the last few weeks because of hustle and heart! He shows up every day and gives 110% which inspires the rest of the team and is exciting to watch!

She was initially only going to be on one team and after a season of watching her lead her squad I moved her to the boys team! She is an asset to our team and I am beyond appreciative of the energy she brings to our program.

Brody has been a crucial part to this team and had major impacts in both the games against Kellogg and Bonners Ferry. He is always wanting to learn and grow as both a player and a person. I am excited to see how he grows both on and off the court.

Dalton is a kid who loves the game of basketball! He had the opportunity to show his admiration for the game and commitment to the team this last week when we were down a few players due to sickness. Dalton stepped into his role as a player and a true leader and showed us what it looks like to step up when called upon!

Aubree White is the sweetest girl ever. This is her first season participating in cheer and since beginning the season she has grown exponentially. I love watching her boost her teammates' confidence and happiness while improving herself. I am excited to see what the rest of the season has in store.

Dustin came in and immediately took over as a leader on this team. He played a big role in our wins versus St. Maries and Priest River. He is a joy to coach and I am excited to see what the rest of the season holds.

Titus brings a positive,” I can, we can attitude” to the team! He is always attentive in practice, during games, and especially in the huddle, making him a great athlete to Coach. I look forward to working with Titus for the remainder of the season, the sky is the limit with this young man.

Mikayla has been a superstar to start this season off! I love how her contagious energy spreads to her teammates during running, cheers, and stunts. She will be such a great cheerleader throughout the rest of the season. I can't wait to see her continue spreading her energy and growing!
